Three Sailors scored in double figures last night to lead Mapleton to a 58-38 Mountain West League win over Mohawk.
Chris Free had a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Tucker Ford contributed 17 points; Hunter Simington had 12 as the Sailors move into a tie for fourth Place with McKenzie. They’ll finish the regular season Thursday at home against second place Lowell.

In Florence, the Brookings-Harbor Bruins pulled off a sweep of the Viking teams last night. Destinie Tatum had a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Lady Vikings, Halee Richards had 15, but the Bruins came out on top 56-51.

For the boys, the game was tied at the end of three quarters and the Vikings took a brief lead to open the fourth before Brookings-Harbor came back for the 52-46 victory. Billy Jones led scoring for the Vikings with 12.
