Buffaloes end Beavers run at Pac-12 Tourney
The Colorado Buffaloes pulled away in the second half for a 78-71 victory over Oregon State in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament last night. The loss ended Coach Wayne Tinkle’s first season at the helm of Oregon State with a 17-14 overall record.
Colorado will face Oregon this evening in the quarterfinal round. The Ducks are the number two seed in the tourney. The tip off at six this evening in Las Vegas; the pregame show on KCST is set for 5:30.
In the three other games at the tourney… Cal beat Washington State 84-59; USC slipped by Arizona State 67-64 and Stanford edged Washington 71-69.
Ducks fall to Dons again on the diamond
The number eight ranked Oregon baseball squad didn’t look the part yesterday afternoon, stumbling to an 8-2 loss to San Francisco at home. It was the second straight loss for Oregon which opens the Pac-12 season on the road tomorrow at Cal.
