Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports:
Unranked Oregon kept their baseball post-season hopes alive last night with a 3-2; 11-inning win over Oregon State in Corvallis. The 18th ranked Beavers held a 2-nothing lead until the eighth inning when the Ducks tied it up. Kyle Kasser’s sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th broke the stalemate and sent Oregon on to the win in the rubber match of the five-game season series.
The Ducks will wrap up the regular season at home this weekend against UCLA; Oregon State will host the Cal Bears.
The Oregon Softball team will host North Carolina State in a best-of-three series at Howe Field in Eugene this weekend. The winner of the super-regional series will advance to the college softball world series. Friday’s game is at six. There’s a game at noon Saturday and then game three, if necessary, will be at three..
