The 2015 Northwest League single “A” baseball season begins June 18th. The Eugene Emeralds start their season off on the road in Everett against the Aquasox. Formerly a minor league affiliate of the San Diego Padres, the Eugene Emeralds announced their two year player development contract with the Chicago Cubs last fall. The Em’s were previously a cubs affiliate in the 1999-2000 seasons. The 2015 Eugene Emeralds will play under manager Gary Van Tol. The Emeralds first home game series is against the Boise Hawks beginning June 23rd at PK Park.
