Non league games done for season, Legionnaires face final competition this weekend
The Eugene Challengers swept both halves of a non-league double-header last night; downing the Three Rivers Sanblasters 10-nothing and 7-1.
The Sandblasters have the rest of this week to prepare for their final Zone-3 matchups of the regular season. They’ll be at Stayton’s Regis High School Saturday for one game against the Canyon Crushers, then wrap up at home Sunday for two more against Canyon.

The Northwest League was idle last night for the Major League All Star Game. The Eugene Emeralds will be at home this evening against the Hillsboro Hops for the first of three at PK Park.
