Mans selected for championship performance
Siuslaw cross country standout Celie Mans is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The junior distance runner continued her string of top-four-finishes in the OSAA 4A girls Cross Country Championships, this time coming home with the individual title and pacing the Vikings to a team championship. Mans was the first across the line at Lane Community College with a time of 18:45.
Honorable mention is given to Siuslaw Wide Reciever and defensive back Trent Reavis. He caught a pair of touchdown passes in Siuslaw’s season ending loss at Junction City last week.
