Alec Peters scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Valparaiso beat Oregon State 63-57 on last night. Gary Payton II had 25 points, 11 rebounds and three steals for Oregon State. The Beavers are now 4-1 in non conference play. It was the 100th program victory for Crusaders head coach Bryce Drew, and the first meeting between the schools.
