Prep basketball last night… the Newport Cubs downed the Siuslaw lady Vikings in Newport 67-36. In Florence, the Cubs also won the boys contest, 53-26.
The Vikings are back on the court tonight. The girls on the road again to Junction City. That game will air on Coast Radio sports beginning at 6:45. The boys will host the Tigers in Florence.
The Mapleton Sailors are on the court and on the road this evening. Boys and girls will be at Yoncalla.
