EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Elgin Cook matched his career high with 26 points, Chris Boucher had 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Oregon stayed perfect at home with a 78-63 victory over UC Irvine last night. Cook scored Oregon’s first seven points of the second half to fuel an 18-4 run that gave the Ducks their largest lead at 62-40. Dillon Brooks added 16 points for the Ducks.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Ruth Hamblin had 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks as No. 7 Oregon State defeated Cal State Bakersfield 75-51 yesterday. Jamie Weisner added 14 points and Deven Hunter had 11 points for the Beavers (8-0), who had every player score. Oregon State outrebounded Cal State Bakersfield 45-32.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – The Seattle Seahawks placed rookie running back Thomas Rawls on injured reserve yesterday and re-signed Bryce Brown to bolster a depleted running back group. Rawls, who has been starting in place of the injured Marshawn Lynch, broke his ankle and suffered ligament damage during the Seahawks’ 35-6 win over Baltimore on Sunday. Rawls finishes the season with 830 yards rushing.

UNDATED (AP) — Another star FCS quarterback plans to transfer to Oregon. Dakota Prukop of Montana State tells Fox Sports he has decided to transfer to Oregon after visiting with the Ducks and Alabama. He said he also considered Michigan and Texas. Prukop has already graduated and will be eligible to play next season.
