Scott Rueck and company awaiting NCAA Tournament assignment
The Oregon State Women rolled to the Pac-12 basketball tournament title over the weekend. Capping the run with a 69-57 win over UCLA in Seattle. The win gave the Beavers both the regular season crown as well as the tournament championship.
Men wrap up regular season
For the men, Stephen Thompson Jr. Scored 23 points and Oregon State held on for an 86-82 win over UCLA to end the regular season Saturday night. The Beavers will face ASU to open the men’s tournament in Las Vegas Wednesday.
Tyler Dorsey led Oregon with 19 points and the number 9 Ducks beat Southern California 76-66 to clinch the Pac-12 title outright. It was Oregon’s first since 2002 and the fifth in school history. Oregon will take on either Washington or Stanford Thursday in Las Vegas.

College Baseball
Jake Thompson pitched 4 2/3 innings Saturday afternoon giving up six hits and three runs, but struck out six as Oregon State went on for a 12-3 win over William and Mary in San Diego. Bryce Fehmel picked up the win after three innings of relief.
The Beavers also beat San Diego in two games at Fowler Stadium over the weekend, going 7-2 Friday night; then 5-2 Saturday evening.
The Beavers will open at home Friday night with the first of three games against San Francisco.
Oregon went two-and-one against Santa Barbara over the weekend at home… winning 13-1 Friday and then capping the weekend with a 3-1 win yesterday. The Gauchos outlasted the Diamond Ducks Saturday afternoon after 14 winnings with a 4-1 win.
Oregon will be in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Thursday for one game against the Crimson Tide; then move on to Starkville, Mississippi Friday where they’ll start a three game series against Mississippi State.
