All around support on the court
Siuslaw volleyball standout Brittany Long is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. Her defensive efforts contributed to two victories on the court last week, making several blocks and extending plays with her blocking, passing and setting.
Honorable mention is given to her teammate, Claire Waggoner, who continues to be an emotional leader on and off the court for the Lady Vikings.

The Siuslaw Volleyball Vikings can clinch the Far West League volleyball title with a win on the road over second place Douglas. Brookings-Harbor is in North Bend; South Umpqua is at Marshfield.
Mapleton wraps up the Mountain West League season, hosting Alsea.
