On the court…
Oregon State got off to a 2-and-oh start for the third straight year under head coach Wayne Tinkle. The Beavers downed Prairie View A&M 78-58 Friday night to open the regular season… then overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to beat U-T San Antonio 72-64 Sunday afternoon.
Number five Oregon cruised to a 91-77 victory over Army Friday night in front of the first-ever opening night sellout crowd at Matthew Knight Arena.
