FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks’ goal line defense came up big last night — stopping the New England Patriots four straight plays to seal a 31-24 win. Tom Brady was unable to connect with Rob Gronkowski on a fade pattern at the end. Doug Baldwin caught three touchdown passes from Russell Wilson, including a 15 yarder to win it for the Seahawks.

UNDATED (AP) — Washington has fallen three spots to No. 7 in the latest AP college football rankings after the Huskies lost to USC over the weekend. Washington State moved up three spots, and is now at No. 20.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon defensive lineman Austin Maloata has been kicked off the team after his Sunday drunk driving arrest. Police say Maloata ran a stop light and hit another car early Sunday. He played 8 games this season for the Ducks.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Damian Lillard scored 32 points and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Denver Nuggets 112-105, dealing the Nuggets a fourth straight setback. CJ McCollum added 21 points. The Blazers have won five of six.

SEATTLE (AP) — Yale was able to use a furious second-half rally to beat Washington, even with Yale playing without its leading scorer. Miye Oni scored 24 points to lead Yale. Guard Makai Mason broke his foot in a scrimmage earlier this month and is likely out for the season. Washington was led by freshman Markelle Fultz, who scored 30 points.
