(AP) — Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hit a 3-pointer with 9.4 seconds left and the Detroit Pistons outlasted the Portland Trail Blazers 125-124 in double-overtime last night in a game postponed a day because of a winter storm. Reggie Jackson led Detroit with 31 points, Andre Drummond had 28 points and 14 rebounds, and Caldwell-Pope finished with 26.
STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Sydney Wiese scored 26 points and No. 16 Oregon State beat No. 10 Stanford 72-69 in double overtime last night in a battle of the Pac-12 Conference’s two remaining unbeaten teams, giving the Beavers their first victory at Maples Pavilion. Oregon State (15-1, 4-0) was 0-29 previously on the road against the Cardinal (13-3, 3-1).
SEATTLE (AP) — Kelsey Plum scored 39 points and Chantel Osahor added 19 points and 16 rebounds to lead No. 12 Washington past ninth-ranked UCLA 82-70 last night in a game delayed an hour due to a power outage. Plum, who came in to the game averaging a nation best 30.2 points , was 13-of-26 from the field and made all eight free throws for the Huskies (16-2, 4-1 Pac-12).
BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) — Sabrina Ionescu hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to cap an 8-0 Oregon run in the final 12 seconds and the Ducks beat No. 20 California 69-66 yesterday. Ionescu’s 3-pointer was her first of the game after the freshman missed her first five. She was playing in her second game after missing four with a broken thumb on her shooting hand, and finished with 13 points for Oregon (11-5, 1-3 Pac-12).
