Viking girls hold on for OT win

Alyssa Richards hit a key basket at the end, then Madison Reynolds pulled down a defensive rebound and the Lady Vikings held off the Junction City Tigers in overtime for a 39-37 non-league win at home last night.  Destinie Tatum led scoring with 17 points and 18 rebounds.

In Junction City, the Tigers capitalized on several Viking errors for a 54-44 non-league win over the boys.  Trent Reavis led scoring with 21 points; Jake Hickson had 11.

The Vikings open Far West League play at home Friday night against the South Umpqua Lancers.
