Oregon State earns #1 seed at Women’s Pac-12 tournament
The Oregon State women will open the Pac-12 Basketball tournament with the day off Thursday before taking on the winner of tomorrow’s game between USC and Cal.
Oregon State was named the number one seed in the tournament after finishing on top of the regular season standings for the third year in a row. The Beavers went 16-2 in conference play and are 27-3 overall. They also moved up in the rankings… from number ten last week to a tie at the sixth spot with Mississippi State.
Oregon State plays in Seattle at 11:30 Friday morning, A win would put them in the semi-final game Saturday evening, then the championship game is set for six Sunday.
Oregon is the number six seed… they’ll face 11 seed Arizona Thursday night at 8:30.
