The Lady Vikings battled hard with the Bruins last night in Brookings Harbor but in the end fell 7-6.
At home the Viking boys went down to the Bruins 14-8
Beavers and Ducks Results
Oregon State pitchers held the Ducks at bay last night in Corvalis. Beaver pitching allowed only 2 hits and one walk in the 4 to 1 win at goss field. The Beavers Jordan Britton went 5 and two thirds innings, striking out 2 for the win. Hurling 72 pitches. Brandon Eisert came in for the save fanning 6 of the 10 batters he faced.
Next up for the beavers is a home stay against California beginning this Friday. First pitch is at 7 and pre game begins at 6:45 on KCFM.
The Ducks will be at Washington State for a series beginning this Friday.
