Ems Drop Out Of First
It was all over in the first inning for the Emeralds last night at PK Park. A 4 run inning by the Tri-City Dust Devils took the wind out of the Ems sails and they managed to scatter only 5 hits through 9 innings. Javier Assad loaded the bases in the first and Luis Asuncion hit a line drive triple to center field scoring three. A sacrifice fly by Jalen Washington drove Asuncion home giving the Dust Devils a 4 -0 lead in the first. The Dust Devils scored one more in the 5th. Final Score 5-zip. The Emeralds have the night off then head to Hillsboro for a 3 game stand against the Hops.
