Last night in Spokane the Emeralds and Indians battled back and forth through nine innings with the score tied at 5-5 through 8 ½ innings. In the bottom of the ninth with two men on base the Indians Tyler Ratliff hammered a line drive double to Emeralds right fielder Brandon Hughes and that was enough to score Nick Kayes and end the game. Indians with that win takes the series 3-2
The Emeralds are in Boise tonight for the first of three games against the Hawks.
