The Oregon State Beavers trailed late in the game on Saturday. Minnesota took a 3-2 lead into the 8th inning where the Beavers tied it up. Then in the top of the 9th inning Adley Rutschmen hit a single that scored 2 runners breaking the tie. Another run was scored when Kyle Nobach was hit by a pitch final score 6-3
Next up for the Beavers is Omaha. The number three seed Oregon State will meet number 2 seed North Carolina for the start of the double elimination. Games will begin on Saturday with times to be announced later this week. From the PAC 12 Washington also made the trip and will take on Mississippi state after they defeated Vanderbilt to advance.
