Duck Women Finish 5th
Over the weekend the Oregon Ducks women’s team worked hard for a 5th place finish at the NCAA Championships in Austin Texas. Some of the notables were Jessica Hull who finished in second place in the 1500 meter race and Carmela Baez who finished 2nd in the 10,000 meters. For the men Cravon Gillespie took second place finishes in both the 100 and 200 meter races accounting for 16.75 points of the 23 the Ducks earned this weekend. The Duck men finished 12th at the national meet.
Rannow Sets New PR
This weekend at the Portland Track Festival Hannah Rannow competed against top tier athletes in the 1500 meters. Hannah finished 12th overall with a personal record time of 4:46.36. Rannow topped her previous best by 4.39 seconds.
