Soccer Finishes Undefeated
The Siuslaw Vikings soccer team has completed its first season undefeated. Last night in Newport the team went up against Newport and fought to a 2-2 tie. Siuslaw trailed 2-1 going into the second half and tied it up on a penalty kick. The Vikings then held off attacks by the Cubs, shirking off 11-of 13 shots on goal. Coach Tomaro was pleased with the teams performance.

Siuslaw ends the season 6-0-2.
Volleyball
The Siuslaw lady Viks are on the road to Elmira for Skyem League Volleyball this evening. Matches between the Lady Viks and Falcons get underway at 6:30.
Mapleton is at home for Mountain West League Volleyball hosting the Eddyville Eagles at 6 o’clock.
