The Oregon Sports Hall of Fame will be inducting to former Oregon State Beaver Football stars. The 40th induction ceremony will be held virtually and broadcast live on Portland’s KGW-tv on September 26th. the two Beavers are Craig Hanneman and Rockne Freitas. Hanneman, is from Salem and played at Oregon State from 67-70. Hanneman played 4 seasons in the NFL after being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Freitas played at OSU from 63-66 and was a member of the 1965 Rose Bowl Team. He was also drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers and played as a center for Detroit and Tampa Bay and was selected All-Pro three times.
