Arizona Brings Desert Heat
The Oregon State Beavers were in the must have felt like they were in the desert last night as the Arizona Wildcats brought the heat. The Wildcats scored 98 points to the Beavers 64. Arizona’s freshman guard Benedict Mathurin scored 31 against the Beavers. Beaver’s guard Ethan Thompson scored 13 to lead the team. The Wildcats broke out quickly taking a 36 point lead in the second quarter and never looked back. Arizona held the lead the entire game. The Beavers host Arizona State on Saturday at 4 pm with a 3:30 pregame on KCFM.
Lady Ducks Offense Grinds to a Halt
The Lady Ducks were on the court last night and fell to the Arizona Wildcats in the Desert down in Tucson. The Ducks got very little production from the starting 5, Nyara Sabally led the team with 15 and she was the only Duck in double figures. The Wildcats bested the Ducks 57-41. Their Sunday game against the SunDevils has been postponed.
The Duck Men’s team will not be back on the court again until Saturday, January 23rd against in state rivals Oregon State.
