Vikings Scrimmage
Tonight the Siuslaw Vikings will get some semblance of normal when they take the field for a 7 on 7 football scrimmage against Sweet Home. Athletes have been involved in voluntary practices with strict social distancing requirements and masking, and tonight at 6pm it will be the culmination of those workouts. There is no public access for spectators and the game will be broadcast on NFHSnetwork.com.
Lady Ducks and Utah Utes
The Lady Ducks fact the Utah Utes on the court this evening from Salt Lake City. The 11-3 Ducks have already beaten the Utes earlier in the season crushing them 85-43. The ducks have held opponents in their last 4 games to under 50 points and a shooting percentage of under 27%. Coach Kelly Graves says the team has been a little rusty on offense though even in their last 3 wins. The Ducks play at 2 pm today.
Trojans Get Revenge on Beavers
The Oregon State Beavers Men’s basketball team was on the court yesterday in Los Angeles. The USC Trojans got even with the Beavers with a 75-62 win. Only two Beavers were in double figures with Ethan Thompson leading with 20. The team shot just over 30% from the field and beyond the Arc. The Beavers play UCLA tomorrow at 4pm with a 3:30 pregame on KCFM.
