Limited Attendance Allowed

The game between the Vikings and the Outlaws will allow limited attendance for fans.  According to Athletic Director Chris Johnson  the school has developed an online ticketing process where you can either print a ticket or save it to your mobile device.  That is the only way to purchase a ticket.  The site is on the Siuslaw high school website at Siuslaw.k12.or.us go to the high school portion and search tickets.  This evening’s game will be on KCST beginning with a 6:45 pregame.

Viks Defeat Junction City

The Siuslaw Viking soccer team went into an early 3-0 deficit yesterday against Junction City, but the team battled back to tie the game.  Coach Londi Tomaro said it was an exciting game to watch and when the Vikings took a 4-3 lead for the win it was even sweeter with fans being able to watch.

Siuslaw Over Elmira in Straight Sets

The Viking volleyball team was also in the win column last night.  Coach Ashley Cole said at first the girls played a little stiff and were not performing up to their abilities, but midway through the first set they found their stride.  There were multiple straight serves for points including an 11-0 run by Desi Tupua.  Tupua also had 10 kills and 6 serving aces.  Senior Kya Blake also went on a 9 point serving run.  The viks won in straight sets 25-23, 25-11, and 25-14.

Sailor Game Cancelled

The Mapleton Sailors will be on the sidelines tonight as their game was cancelled against Mohawk.  Coach Greene says they are hoping to be able to reschedule the game for Monday, but no news yet on whether that will happen.

Beaver Baseball

The Oregon State Beaver baseball team begins a 3 game series against Washington today.  The first game will have a 4:30 pregame on KCFM this afternoon.

March Madness Schedule

This weekend the Beavers and the Ducks will be on the court for March Madness Basketball.  The Beavers face Loyola-Chicago and have an 11:00 pregame on KCFM tomorrow morning and the Ducks will face USC Sunday beginning a 6:30 on KCST.
