Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate senior Siuslaw Cross Country runner Rylee Colton who secured the Sky-Em 4a championship in the 5000 meters with a time of 19:30.7. Rylee’s win also helped the girl’s team to a second place Finish and a place in the OSAA 4A State Championships.
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention goes to junior Viking volleyball player Desi Tupua who had 18 kills, 9 blocks, 12 digs and 12 perfect passes with excellent play from all 6 rotations to help Siuslaw in their first playoff win against North Marion.
Playoff Tickets
Playoff tickets are available for this Friday’s Football game against Blanchet Catholic. Tickets can be purchased through the OSAA website at osaa.org/shop/tickets. Tickets will not be available through the High school website.
Girl’s Volleyball
Siuslaw Girl’s volleyball will be at Sisters this evening with a game time of 5:30.
