Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Viking junior Hunter Petterson as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Hunter scored a first place victory in the 200 meter race at Saturday’s Stayton Invitational with a personal record time of 22.82 which also makes him 4th all time at Siuslaw High School. He also set a Personal Record time with a 3rd place finish in the 400 meter race.
Honorable Mention goes to senior Rylee Colton who posted a first place finish in the 1500 meter race with a personal record time of 5:00.26 and a 4th place finish in the 800 meters.

The Oregon Ducks face off with the OSU Beavers live from pk park this evening pregame on KCFM begins at 5:30
Vikings at Junction City
The Siuslaw Viking will face Junction City on KCST beginning at 4:45. Viking softball will also be at JC for a 5 pm game.
