Ducks and Beavers in MLB Draft
Major League Baseball is in the midst of its draft. On day two three Oregon Ducks were chosen. Between rounds 4 and 7 Anthony Hall, Brennan Milone and Adam Maier were selected. Hall was chosen by the NY Yankees, Milone was selected by the Oakland A’s and Maier was selected by the Atlanta Braves.
The Oregon State Beavers had 1 player selected in the first round. Cooper Hjerpe was selected by St. Louis, in the second round Jacob Melton was picked by the Houston Astros and Justin Boyd was selected by The Reds. Yesterday 3 players went in the sixth, eighth and Ninth rounds respectively, Will Frisch by the Cubs, Wade Meclker by San Francisco and Gavin Logan by Arizona.
