Volleyball

Siuslaw Volleyball ended their regular season at 6-6 in league play after a tough battle against Pleasant Hill last night.  The Vikings took the #2 Billies to 5 sets but could not get past the Billies.  Siuslaw finishes the season 12-10 overall with a ranking of 12.

Mapleton Volleyball was at Crow last night the Sailors dropped the match 1-3 to close out their season.

Brownie Run

The Siuslaw Vikings enjoyed a plate of Brownies at yesterday’s Run for the Brownies.  The Viking boys finished with 4 runners taking the top spots with Kyle Hughes leading the charge in the 3000 meter run followed by Jacob Blankenship in second.  The Viking girls had the top 5 spots with Corduroy Holbrook taking the top spot by a second over freshman Alison Hughes.

Viking Football

In the valley Fox Sports has chosen tonight’s varsity football game as their game of the week.  The Siuslaw Vikings will host Sisters this evening.  both teams are 3-1 in league play and 5-2 overall.  Siuslaw holds the edge in points scored, but Sisters has allowed fewer points scored against them.  La Pine remains undefeated in the league at 5-0.  The game tonight will be broadcast on KCST beginning at 6:45.

College Football

The OSU Beavers host Colorado tomorrow with a gametime on KCFM at 4 pm.  The Oregon Ducks will face UCLA at Autzen Stadium beginning at 11 on KCST.
