Siuslaw Basketball
The Siuslaw boys basketball team improves to 4-4 on the season after last night’s win against South Umpqua. The Vikings will next travel to Bandon for the Bandon Dunes Tournament on December 28th. they will face Kennedy in the first round of the tournament.
The Siuslaw girls basketball team were defeated last night 48-24 but are showing improvement. Last night was their second highest scoring total for the season as they continue to gain experience as a team. The girls will also be part of the Bandon Dunes Tournament next week.
Wrestling
Viking Wrestling is scheduled for a meet today in Warrenton. 8 schools will compete in the Warrenton Holiday Dual Tournament.
Utah Valley Over Oregon Ducks
Utah Valley made pate’ of the Oregon Ducks last night in college hoops despite a 26 point effort from senior Will Richardson. The Ducks got little help off the bench last night and shot only 35% from the floor in the 72-77 loss.
College Hoops
The Duck women were in San Diego for the SanDiego Invitational. They defeated #17 Arkansas 85-78 and will play #3 Ohio State this afternoon at 3:30.
The Oregon State Beavers will host Denver this evening beginning at 6:30 on KCFM. The OSU women are off until December 27th.
