Track and Field

Yesterday in Creswell senior Hunter Petterson took the top spot in the 100 meter race beating out 46 other competitors.  The two hundred meter race was also won by a viking, Raymund Brito-Xilot followed closely by Hunter Petterson.  Brito-Xilot also won the 400 meter race. Dylan Jensen took the 800 with a PR of 2:09.3 and the 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams took the top spot. Senior Jonathan Rose tossed the shot put 41’4” for first place and senior Dezmond Anderson set a pr for the third spot at 37’6”.  Rose also tossed the javelin 143’3” for first place.  Freshman Kale Jensen set a pr in the high jump at 5’9” for the top spot.  Will Johnson set a PR for the long jump at 18’7.75” for the win.  Johnson also took the top spot in the Triple jump. For the ladies freshman Abigail Jones took first place in the 3000 meters, Danin Lacouture took the shot put prize with a pr toss of 31’11”.  Junior Jane Lacouture took fourth with a pr of 28’10”. Junior Madison Carnahan tossed the discus for a second place finish at 76’.

Today Siuslaw JV baseball will be at Creswell.

Upcoming Sports

Tomorrow the Vikings will host the Central Coast Invitational track and field event at Hans Peterson field beginning at 4pm.  Siuslaw baseball and softball host Harrisburg beginning at 2 pm.  Pregame for the baseball game will be at 1:45 on KCST
