Sanblaster Baseball

The Three Rivers Sandblasters were on the mound last night at Jiggs Dodson Field.  The double-header against the Pepsi Bottle Caps proved to be tough one for the team.  Game one the Sandblasters fell 14-5. A pair of hit-by-pitches drove in a couple runs with bases loaded in the second inning.  On the mound for the Sandblasters was Zak Nilles for the start and Riley Murphey relieved Nilles followed by Joel Sissel.  4 batters had hits for Three Rivers, Max Reynolds, Joel Sissel, Jordan Pitcher and Collin Barnett.

Game two was more of the same for the team.  The Bottle Caps outscored the Sandblasters 13-7, but the Sandblasters collected 8 hits.  Reynolds and Pitcher had multiple hits in game two.  Andrew Jensen Norman started on the mound and pitched 3 innings.  Riley Murphey entered the game in relief and Micah Blankenship was the closer.
