Ems Travel to Pasco
The Eugene Emeralds are in Pasco Washington this evening to begin a 6 game series against the Tri-City Dust Devils. The Dust Devils are currently 47 and 49 and are currently in 4th place 12.5 games behind the league leading Vancouver Canadians. The Ems are in third place 10.5 games back. Tri-City has one 10 of the 18 meetings between the two teams this season. The Ems hope to change that number this week.
Assistant Soccer Coach Needed
The Siuslaw School district is currently looking for an assistant boy’s soccer coach classified as an extra duty job in the district. The applications close this Friday the 4th of August. The School has yet to post the position of head baseball coach to replace Tom Shinn who recently resigned following a successful season that saw the Vikings go into the playoffs.
