Exploding Whale Promotion
This evening at PK Park is Exploding Whale night for the Eugene Emeralds. It is the last such celebration remembering the famous Florence event. The Ems will be hosting the Everett Aquasox at 6:35 to begin a 6 game series at home.
Lanning Wants To See Rivalry Continue
Oregon coach Dan Lanning says he hopes that the Ducks will continue to schedule a game against their in-state rivals the Oregon State Beavers a desire that he shares with UO athletic direction Rob Mullens. While Lanning says it is his desire, it is pretty much out of his and the university’s hands at this point. He understands the importance of the game and what it means to both universities. This year’s season could mark the last for the annual battle.
Beaver Fans Unite
After last weekend’s announcement social media was chatting up the decision regarding the latest teams to jump ship from the Pac-12. Beaver Fans were dreaming of a season where the Beavs hand it to the departing teams by defeating each one this season. A dream which could happen in a perfect world where the beavers capitalize on their winning ways of the 2022 season.
