By the end of the night on Sunday the Eugene Emeralds had evened the series with the Everett Aqua Sox. The Ems took game 4 on Friday 5-4 and Everett took Saturdays game 7-4. Last night the Ems shut out the Sox for the final game. The ems scored only 2 runs but they wouldn’t need any more as they held Everett to just 6 hits on the night. The Ems had a chance to score more but left 10 men on base. The Emeralds will have the night off and will begin hosting a 6 game series against the league leading Canadians. The Ems are 13.5 games out of first place and 11.5 games behind the second place Aqua Sox.
