Tough Loss For Beavers
Saturday’s OSU loss to the Washington Huskies was disappointing according to Head coach Jonathan Smith. The Beavers went toe to toe with the Huskies with the difference in the game being an errant snap on a punt by the Beaver’s center. That caused a safety and the beavers had to return possession to the Huskies. The win by Washington secured their spot in the Pac-12 championship. It will now be up to the Ducks this week to secure their spot, but they will have to defeat their long-time rivals the Beavers. That game will be on Friday night and will be covered by KCFM and KCST.
Ducks Over Sun Devils
The Ducks showed no mercy in the desert on Saturday. The Ducks scored 21 points in the first quarter and followed it up with another 21 in the second. Heisman hopeful and front runner Bo Nix threw for 404 yards and threw 6 touchdown passes. Sophomore Ty Thompson relieved Nix midway through the third quarter and threw a touchdown pass of his own in the 49-13 victory against the Arizona State Sun Devils.
