Athlete of the Week
The Sports club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate junior Siuslaw Baseball player Maximus Reynolds as this week’s athlete of the week. Maximus drove in the winning run in two come from behind games last week against Elmira and had a game saving put out to secure a victory. He is currently batting 700 on the season.
Honorable Mention
Honorable mention goes to sophomore track and field standout Will Johnson who won three individual events at Friday’s Coquille Twilight meet and was part of the winning 4×100 relay.
Baseball/Softball
Mapleton Elmira softball will host Harrisburg today at 4:30.
Coast Radio will pick up the Cottage Grove/Siuslaw baseball game scheduled for Thursday. Pre game on kcst is at 4:15.
