The Eugene Emeralds took an early 6-1 lead over the Hillsboro Hops last night capping a 5 run second inning, but the lead would be short lived as the Hops bounced back in the fourth inning with a series of hits that drove in 10 runs giving the Hops a 5 run advantage. That is when the scoring came to an end for both teams. The teams will finish up their 6 game series in the heat as temperatures in Hillsboro will be in triple digits today and tomorrow.
