Local Athlete to Compete in Shrine Bowl

The East West Shrine Bowl is set to kick off on July 27th.  Selected to the East Team was Siuslaw’s Cort Waggoner.  He says it is an honor to have been chosen and looks forward to playing.

“I’m really excited and kind of to be able to represent Siuslaw one last time, wearing the gold Helmet is something when I was a little kid I looked up to those players wearing the gold helmet and that’s always been such a constant in my life to represent that and be part of a great tradition.”

The East West Shrine game will be played in Baker City, Saturday July 27th.
