Gym Revamping
If you have been to an event at Glen Butler court over the past few years you might have thought it’s time for an update, and the school agreed. They just finished refinishing the floors and updating some of the signage and logos in the 50 year old building. It has been about 25 years since the last update according to Siuslaw Athletic Director Chris Johnson. Siuslaw Volleyball will be the first to officially use the updated court when they host North Bend in 3A action on September 3rd.
Ems Schedule
The Eugene Emeralds hope to break free from a 3-way tie in the Northwest league as they travel to Washington to battle the Everett Aqua Sox. The 6-game series begins this evening at 7:05. The Ems, Aqua Sox and the Hillsboro Hops are all at 13-17. Tri-City sits at the bottom of the league at 11-19. Spokane has been virtually unstoppable with 22 wins in the second half of the season.
