Viking softball standout Eden McCord is this week’s prep Athlete of the week. The freshman was 3-for-3 at the plate in last week’s contest against Bandon and was on base for all 4 of her plate appearances. Coach Richards says she was impeccable on defense and continues to be a major asset to the team.
Honorable mention goes to sophomore Siuslaw baseball player Michael Fitzsimmons who led the Vikings with 6 RBI against Bandon propelling the Vikings to both wins of the double header.
