Sonny Tupua carried the ball eight times for 145 yards and two touchdowns, plus caught a 45-yard touchdown pass as the Siuslaw Vikings downed the Brookings-Harbor Bruins 49-13 Thursday night. The Vikings led 42-7 at the half and were able to move the ball at will against the Bruins, accumulating just under 400 yards of offense in the first half. Neal Larson rushed for 34 yards on eight carries, but scored twice for Siuslaw. The Vikings remain undefeated with a 3-0 Far West League record, 6-0 overall.
