Viking football gets underway tonight with the annual Blue-Gold game at Hans Peterson Field. The Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club will be serving hot dogs and Viking Burgers beginning at six.
Head Coach Tim Dodson will be conducting a “Football 101” session at seven with the official welcome at 7:30. Beginning at eight the squad will be split in two for a scrimmage.
The admission charge for the game is a can of food for Florence Food Share. The Vikings open the regular season next Friday night in Junction City.
