Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…

It didn’t take long for the Eugene Emeralds to get back on the winning track in the Northwest League.  They opened up the second half of the Far West League season with a 6-5 win over the Vancouver Canadians.  Then, in the nightcap of a double-header, they closed out the first half of the season with a 4-2 win.  That game had originally been scheduled for June 30th, but was rained out.

Jeremy Baltz led things at the plate in game one, going four-for-five with two runs scored and one RBI.  Dane Phillips was two-for-two with two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI in game two.

The Two teams continue a three-day series this evening in Vancouver.
