The Vancouver Canadians shut out the Eugene Emeralds two-nothing last night in British Columbia. The Ems got their first look at San Diego Padres first round draft pick from 2011 when Joseph Ross opened up on the mound in the first inning. He faced four batters and gave up one hit in his professional debut.
