Siuslaw Football Standout Samuel Johnson is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The Viking wide receiver caught two touchdown passes… one for 20 yards, the other 29… and ran for a third in Siuslaw’s 48-18 Far West football victory over South Umpqua. Honorable Mention is given to Cross Country standout Matthew Campbell who led the Vikings to a 1st place team finish at the Woahink Invitational, winning the race with a time of 16:05.2.
On the schedule today, the Siuslaw Vikings are in North Bend this evening for Far West volleyball against the Bulldogs. Reedsport is at Glide against the Wildcats.
