Diamond Ducks Score Sans Hits

Four Oregon pitchers combined for 15 strikeouts and no walks, scattering 6 Portland hits over nine innings; and the number 14 ranked Ducks held off the Pilots for a 3-1 non-conference win on the diamond yesterday in Eugene.

Oregon only managed three hits in the effort…  The first an RBI single in the first to give the Diamond Ducks the early lead.  Oregon is now 7-1 on the pre-season.
