Oregon’s Dion Jordan has found himself in the NFL draft ranking at fifth and the only Duck expected to go in tonight’s opening round.
Jordan is one of 13 eligible Oregon players as well as the highest ranked from the state. Other notable Ducks: Kiko Alonso, Kenjon Barner, John Boyett, Michael Clay, Kyle Long, and Jackson Rice.
Twelve Oregon State Beavers are hoping they will hear their names called out before the NFL Draft closes Saturday; including Jordan Poyer, Andrew Seumalo, Anthony Watkins, and Markus Wheaton.
The first round of the NFL Draft is set for this evening… rounds two and three will take place tomorrow in New York with the final four rounds coming Saturday.
Central Coast Invitational Track and Field
Preparations are nearly complete for tomorrow’s Central Coast Invitational track and field meet at Hans Peterson Field in Florence. Field events begin at four… running events at five with premier events like the 3-thousand meter and 4-by-400 relay coming under the lights. A dozen teams from schools of all sizes will be competing. There’s a $5 admission charge for adults.
