Ryan Smith started with a leadoff home run in the top of the 2nd and the Sandblasters jumped to an early five-nothing lead yesterday in Dallas. But, the Dirtbags were able to recover and take the lead by the fourth, holding off Three Rivers for the 10-6 win.
The Sandblasters are off the diamond until Saturday when they host the Canyon Crushers for two games at Jiggs Dodson Field in Florence.
In the Northwest League Everett pitcher Tyler Olson threw a complete game one-hitter last night against the Eugene Emeralds for a five-run shutout victory at PK Park. Game two of the five game series is tonight in Eugene.
